Home of Crazy!

Mineral Wells is home of Crazy Water varieties 1, 2, 3 and 4.

Welcome to the Internet home of the Mineral Wells Area Chamber of Commerce, your gateway to business, citizen and tourism information for the North Texas Hill Country.

When you're in the Mineral Wells area, you're close enough to enjoy the big-city conveniences of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, yet far enough away not to feel sucked in by the stresses of metropolitan life.

Mineral Wells is a vibrant city of about 17,000 in Palo Pinto County, home to about 27,000 fun-loving, friendly folks. Our economy is diverse, ranging from manufacturing and industry to retail and tourism-based businesses.

We're known for a variety of things, not least the red-hot Crazy Water, drawn from local wells by the locally-owned Famous Mineral Water Company. According to a news report by WFAA-Dallas, users say it works!

We're also known for the handle we've got on natural beauty, with attractions such as Boudreau Herb Farm, Lake Mineral Wells and Possum Kingdom State Parks and Clark Gardens Botanical Park.

If you can't come here to stay, we certainly want you to visit! The Chamber provides resources for self-guided tours that focus on our wonderful history and natural wonders, and we can create a custom tour package for groups of any size.

Ranch "a modern-day Chautauqua set in the Old West"

The serene setting of the Double J Hacienda and Art Ranch makes for a reflective getaway.

The Dallas Morning News recently caught up with Chamber members Jimmy and Jane Baldwin to discuss the development of the Double J Hacienda and Art Ranch.

Double J is an "outpost where we and others can come together and rejuvenate, to be inspired and to create," Jane Baldwin tells the Morning News.

The business accepts reservations for private retreats, conducts retreats of its own, offers yoga classes and much more.
