Palo Pinto County lands State Bowfishing Tourney

PK Lodge, LP, on beautiful Possum Kingdom Lake, is pleased to host the Texas State Bowfishing Tournament on August 28, 2010, with the support of the Mineral Wells Area Chamber of Commerce.

Bow fishermen and women from all around the United States are expected to participate. This prestigious event introduces a new sport to our region on a big scale and invites new people to our area. The tournament benefits PK Lake by removing large numbers of carp, buffalo and gar along with many other varieties of invasive species.

The Texas Bowfishing Association selected PK Lodge to host the 2010 State Bowfishing Tournament after a competitive process.  The Chamber of Commerce is pleased to sponsor this tournament, as events of this nature encourage tourism to the area.  For more information on how to register your team, visit http://www.texasbowfishingassociation.com/.
