Mineral Wells, Texas, is a diverse and spirited community located in Palo Pinto and Parker counties. The ever-growing Mineral Wells Area Chamber of Commerce is comprised of 430 members -- the "Center of the Business Community." The Chamber also serves as a Convention and Visitors Bureau for Mineral Wells and Palo Pinto County, our staff of five ready to help your event or relocation succeed.

Spotlight: Antenna Products

Antenna Products Corporation (Nasdaq: ANTP) is a longtime Chamber member that has been manufacturing antennas and related communication devices for more than a half century. Located right here in Mineral Wells at 101 S.E. 25th Ave., Antenna Products sells to military, civil and commercial clients. In July, the company announced that it has won an antenna contract with the Federal Aviation Administration with a value of up to $3,000,000. All the antennas will be manufactured right here in Mineral Wells. Congratulations, Antenna Products! Antenna Products employs 85 and is led by CEO Garland P. Asher.

Austin Chronicle previews fossil site

Although it isn't open to the public yet, a fossil site in Mineral Wells was paid a visit by Austin Chronicle writer Gerald McLeod this fall. McLeod offers a preview of what is to come at one of the few sites in the United States where visitors will be able to search for fossils and take their finds home!

Chamber seeks tourism partners

The Mineral Wells Area Chamber of Commerce announced recently that it is seeking community tourism partners. Funding is available through the Chamber’s tourism department for organizations undertaking certain activities for the benefit of tourism in Mineral Wells Area and Palo Pinto County.  

Examples of appropriate activities include:  

  • Registration of Convention Delegates.
  • Advertising, Solicitations and Promotions that Directly Promote Tourism and the Hotel and Convention Industry.
  • Promotions of the Arts that Directly Promote Tourism and the Hotel and Convention Industry.
  • Historical Restoration and Preservation Activities that Directly Promote Tourism and the Hotel and Convention Industry.  

Projects that cannot reasonably be expected to promote hotel activity should not apply.
