THE ULTIMATE WEDDING EXPO

Saturday, March 3rd 2012, from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, The New 92.1 KTFW and Clark Gardens will host the a bridal expo among the gorgeous flowers of the Gardens where 5 chosen couples will compete for the Ultimate Wedding Giveaway and one will win a dream wedding worth $15,000 complete with all the sparkle, glitz and glamour they could imagine!

In addition to a faux wedding, there will be vendors on hand: photographers, florists, caterers, wedding dresses, and more.


75th Annual PRCA/WPRA Pro-Rodeo

The Palo Pinto County Livestock Association 75th Annual All-American Series PRCA/WPRA Pro-Rodeo will take place May 9 through 11. It is one of the Oldest and Finest outdoor Pro-Rodeos in the nation.

EVERY NIGHT , you can enjoy all the regular pro-rodeo events PLUS Mutton Bustin' and Calf Scrambles for the kids, Local Team Roping in addition to the Pros AND two area girls riding groups - The Cowgirls of Hope open EACH NIGHT's rodeo and The Cowgirl Chicks perform their nationally renowned trick riding maneuvers EACH NIGHT at  intermission! If you haven't seen them - you shouldn't miss the chance! If you have seen these groups, you know you shouldn't miss the chance to see them again. They just keep getting better! Beer and Food Concession by Mesquite Pit and other snack vendors too.

OLD JAIL MUSEUM FEATURING 'ALAMO IMAGES'

The Old Jail Museum will be featuring Alamo Images: Changing Perspectives of a Texas Experience March 8 through March 31.

They will survey the Alamo of the Texas imagination through illustrations drawn from historical documents, paintings, sketches, cartoons, comic books, television, and movie interpretations. Alamo Images focuses not merely on Texas history, but on the mythic power of events that helped define a community, state, and nation and on the ways in which people learn history.
