Member Relations and Services



Ambassadors serve as the welcoming arm of the Chamber, hosting ribbon cuttings and special events and, every month, thanking renewing members in person for their membership. The Welcoming Crew Sponsor is recognized in each ribbon cutting announcement and publicity item throughout the year and has the opportunity to include their promotional items in new member packets. The Welcoming Crew Sponsor serves as the host and sponsor of the Annual Ambassador Appreciation Luncheon.

Small Business University

These seminars update members on business topics and trends including technology and marketing.  Attending these seminars helps members keep their businesses current and relevant in a changing economic landscape.

New Member Briefings & Reception

Twice a year, the New Member Briefing provides information about all that the Chamber has to offer members. All members are invited to attend at no charge and refreshments are served.

Member of the Month Program

The Member of the Month Program recognizes 12 members each year as determined by the Chamber’s Ambassadors. The Member of the Month Sonsor is recognized on the Member of the Month signage, which is displayed 365 days a year at different locations in Mineral Wells, and in each publicity announcement.

Business Beautification Program

The Business Beautification Program recognizes 12 members each year who have made visual enhancements to their business as determined by the Ambassadors. The Business Beautification Sponsor is recognized on the Member of the Month signage, which is displayed 365 days a year at different locations in Mineral Wells, and in each publicity announcement

Business After Hours

This networking event provides opportunities for  members to make business connections on a quarterly basis with 60 to 80 attendees each time. This program highlights the services and/or facility of the host.

Resource Team Program

The Resource Team is a program developed for the purpose of growing member businesses through networking and referrals.  with each group restricted to one representative from each industry. Resource Team members provide member-to-member referrals in an environment of accountability. The Resource Team Sponsor appears on each agenda and in all Resource Team publicity.

Leadership Mineral Wells

Leadership Mineral Wells is a self-facilitated development program for top and merging community leaders. The mission of Leadership Mineral Wells is to train tomorrow’s leaders today in such vital areas as economic development, tourism, and human needs. This 9-month program requires participants to be visible in the community. The presenting sponsors would have the opportunity to welcome past and present leadership attendees at the February orientation and November graduation and be included with logo in all Leadership invitations and publicity information. Sponsorships cover meals, supplies, and specific Leadership trainings that the group undertakes during the year.

Chamber Annual Awards Banquet

The Annual Awards Banquet is a celebration of the successes of the past year, with 15 awards categories from Outstanding Industrial Partner to Best Customer Service. The banquet also marks the beginning of the Chamber year.

State of the Community Luncheon

The State of the Community annual luncheon brings together various organizations and entities to present information on who we are as a community.  This well attended event is a great way to stay plugged in and be in the know about all the exciting things happening in our area. 

Shop Local and Win! & Christmas Market

Shop Local and Win! is the Chamber’s award-winning local shopping promotion that runs Nov. 1 through Dec. 24.

Battle of the Businesses Golf-Tournament

This brand new event in 2015 will be a chance for our area businesses to compete in a 4 person scramble tournament for bragging rights and a trophy!  Check back for more details soon!

Chamber Publications

Newsletter and Website

The Chamber website links members with local residents, potential residents, and visitors and is a primary method of communication with the public. The website receives more than 50,000 visitors each year. The award-winning Chamber newsletter is the Chamber’s chief method of communicating with its membership directly. 500 newsletters are circulated each month. Space is limited

E-mail Newsletter

Chamber Flash provides updated news from Chamber members twice weekly to more than 900 readers. Readership is not limited to members, because the Chamber wants as many people as possible to read its news. However, only members may request that news be sent through Chamber Flash.
