  • You will be given the opportunity to introduce your business. *If a camera person is available and you desire, your introduction can be done on Facebook Live.
  • Photos taken by Chamber Staff will be posted on social media, our website, and will be sent to the Mineral Wells Index.

HELPFUL TIPS TO GET THE MOST OUT OF YOUR RIBBON CUTTING

  • Keep it short and sweet. People are usually breaking away from work to attend ribbon cuttings and need to get back quickly.
  • Ribbon Cuttings are a time of celebration, and while it isn't required, food always makes things more fun. Don't worry about expensive or fancy. It can be a plate of cookies or some finger foods.
  • Put your own personal touch on the event to make it memorable. If the people remember your ribbon cutting as a fun experience, they'll remember you and your business too.
  • All that said…no stressing! Ribbon Cuttings are supposed to be fun…for those who attend AND for you.
  • Remember to help spread the word on your social media, website, and emails. Invite customers, clients, family and friends to join you at your Ribbon Cutting.

CAPTURING THE MOMENT

When we get ready to take the Ribbon Cutting photo, we'll take two shots.

  1. On the first one, just smile.
  2. On the second one, you will cut. Be careful…the scissors are very sharp.

And remember to look up and smile!
